Program Information
Boasting majestic views of the Kern River, this scenic waterway provides the backdrop for WOLF’s most dramatic personal development, team building, and bonding programs which are favored by many prominent schools. Activities range from, climbing elements, picturesque hikes, and star gazing, to swimming opportunities, string mazes, night programs, science stations, and more. Schools often combine programming content to create a “triple threat” team building, science, and primitive skills “greatest hits” program which might feature birds of prey, map & compass, solar inventions, animal auction, river hikes, archery & tomahawks, frontier outpost camp, botany & microscopes or any of the rotations in the WOLF index. Programs at the Kern River enjoy the scenic beauty, exclusivity, solitude, and traditional elements such as great food, accommodating camp features, celebration campfires, and the great WOLF staff hospitality that is the very nature of all great WOLF programs.

WOLF campers enjoy all the luxuries of upscale camping at scenic riverside locations, complete with hot showers, indoor restrooms, well-marked trails, and immediate access to beaches on the river. Students are treated to exceptional food service with all-you-can-eat delicious hot meals and snacks. S’mores!
